Where a segment of a street is a length of street spamming from one location where the street intersects other street to the the next location where the street either ends or intersects with another street. This feature class is built using the street centreline feature class in the SDE, which is based off of the source dwg file of street centrelines.</SPAN></P><P><SPAN>Feature Fields:</SPAN></P><P><SPAN>GEOID (int) = a unique street ID </SPAN></P><P><SPAN>DESCRIPTION (text) = the description of the road segment formatted as ({Full street name} btwn {To Street} and {From Street}) </SPAN></P><P><SPAN>NOLANES (int) = the number of lanes on the street segment </SPAN></P><P><SPAN>SEG_LENGTH (float) = the length of the segment in meters </SPAN></P><P><SPAN>SPEEDLIMIT (int) = the posted speed limit in km/h </SPAN></P><P><SPAN>CLASSIFCTN (text) = the type of road assigned to the segment (ex: Arterial, Local, Laneway, etc.) </SPAN></P><P><SPAN>AREA_TYPE (text) = the type of area the road segment is located in (ex: Urban, Suburban, Rural) </SPAN></P><P><SPAN>TRUCKROUTE (text) = a yes or no indication if the street is a designated truck route </SPAN></P><P><SPAN>BUSROUTE (text) = a yes or no indication if the street has a bus route on it </SPAN></P><P><SPAN>BIKELANE (text) = a yes or no indication if the street has a bike lane on at least one side </SPAN></P></DIV></DIV></DIV> |
